Transformers: Dark Of The Moon (2011) - this sci-fi action sequel directed by Michael Bay includes many helicopter scenes. The covert 'NEST' HQ in Washington, DC has a hanger floor with Black Hawk, Sea Knight, and five Apache helicopters on display. In one scene, an Osprey and other helicopters inside the secret hanger are wrecked when a bad robot runs amok.

There's a Black Hawk flying over the city, and three NASA Hueys circle above the launch-pad for the modified space shuttle while providing air support for the road convoy.

There is a Bell 429-HG (pictured left) used by the villains' collaborator as his air taxi to Chicago.

A police LongRanger flies above Chicago streets.

There are UAV drones, with enclosed rotors, used for aerial surveillance.

The aliens have VTOL styled jet fighters that hover about like gunships. One of these is hi-jacked by the heroes for a rescue mission, but it is shot down in the conquered city where the robot invaders have 'airships' maintaining combat patrols to enforce their air supremacy.

Five 'black ops' Ospreys fly a wing-suit glider/ paratrooper strike team into enemy-occupied Chicago, and a couple of the transports are shot down over water by their robot foes. The flight is joined by a four-wing, quad-rotor CGI/ sci-fi version of the V-22 Osprey that is also destroyed in the enemy's attack.
